From the land of fire and ice, an exciting addition to our collection is Léttlopi! 100% Icelandic Wool. A warm and comfortable choice for your next accessory or garment. Perfect for colourwork mittens, cowls, and sweaters.

The wool from Icelandic sheep comes in many different tones resulting in a beautiful choice of heathered colours. The fleece is dual-coated with both soft and long fibres providing you with warmth, lightness, strength, and protection.

Icelandic sheep spend part of the year roaming free and in the colder months are kept warm and safe on the farms. No mulesing, chemicals, or hormones. The Istex spinning mill is farmer owned.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified 

  • 100 m / 109 yds / 50 g
  • 18 -20 sts = 4" on 4.5-5mm / US 7-8
  • 100% Pure Wool
  • Hand wash, cool water. Lay flat to dry.
